Observation 1 and 2

Observation 1:
When the objects were first revealed, I first spot the book which was in a standing position in the group, it looks like an old book as the colour on the front page was faded.  Then, I noticed the coffee cup suited in the front line, it has clock image printed on the cup, which make me really miss my latte which I enjoy every day. I imaged myself sitting in the Starbucks drinking my latte and writing my mid-term paper.  I also noticed the robotic wooden toys as this would be something my son enjoy playing with for sure. Something interesting is about the crocodile, although it was positioned in the frontier, I did not notice it until later. I think this is because my fear about crocodile, something I am not interested in and actually feel quite scared about.

Observation 2
This time, I first noticed the red rectangle box in the middle of the table. The red colour of the box really stands out and caught my attention. Also, it has certain Chinese characters written on the surface. I can’t help my self but to get closer to read the Chinese characters. This behaviour is related to my ethnicity and being a native Chinese speaker. During my first observation, I did not even notice this red box. I also noticed the puzzle box which has a panda image on the top. The word “infant” caught my eyes, again, this is because I am a mother of two small kids and I could image my 2-year-old son playing the puzzle with me together. The third objective I noticed which was different from my first observation was the accordion, an musical instrument. I though it was a suitcase when I spotted in my suitcase. I reminded me of my old days when I was a member of the musical choir at my elementary school. I noticed this instrument may be related to my personal interest in music.
